Detail
The diesel-electric, 70 tonne, D.145 shunting locomotives were put into service in 1982. This is the first new generation locomotive project for the renewal of the railways of the State Railways. The project was developed by Fiat Ferroviaria Savigliano in the late seventies. They were the first diesel locomotives in Italy with the orange livery. The locomotives are suitable for freight train service with a maximum speed of 100km/h as well as for heavy shunting at reduced speed.
The PIKO model is impressive with its finely detailed paintwork and printing, the exact housing shape, attached handlebars, and sharply engraved bogie trims.
The lights change depending on the direction of travel, white / red using LEDs. The standard built-in driver's cab lighting and the tail lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder.
The five-pole motor with two flywheels ensures excellent driving performance. The model also has a digital interface PluX22 according to NEM 658 and is prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and a large loudspeaker. Brake hoses, for retrofitting, are also included.
