Detail
The Franconia Railway (German: Frankenbahn) is a 180-kilometre-long (110 miles) railway line in the north of the German state of Baden-Württemberg and the Bavarian province of Lower Franconia that links Stuttgart and Würzburg. Its name comes from the fact that the majority of the line runs through Franconia.
The PIKO models of the Franconian S-Bahn cars, of 1987, in the 1:87 scale, are characterised by the closely observed implementation of the prototypes' many details.
The carriages have interior fittings, excellent wobble-free rolling properties, accurately obeserved bogies, and are designed for easy retrofitting of interior lighting.
